Back in 2017, I (Jean) went to The Bloom Bash at Holman Ranch in Carmel and fell in love with this beach town and photography.
This was a workshop-style retreat, but it was what I needed early on in my business, when I was craving connection with other women entrepreneurs and online business growth.
My daughter Catherine was only 14 and wanted to come, but was too young.
Now that we are partners, we reimagined a creative retreat with a wellness-forward theme.
After 23 years of running my creative business solo, with more burnouts and pivots than I can count, health and wellness became an unexpected heartbeat of my business. We couldn’t think of a better place to host the retreat than in Napa, California!

When I was younger, I pushed myself to the limit and expected I could always keep up that pace. Well, it doesn’t work that way. Putting myself last and losing my brother-in-law at 52 years young to a heart attack made me want to do things differently - with more intention and less hustle.
