Food bloggers have a unique responsibility to showcase the steps behind each recipe. My paternal grandfather owned a restaurant in Havana, Cuba. I really feel that food is in someone’s blood and it is definitely in mine. I never got to meet my Abuelo Manuel, but from what I heard from my Abuela, he was a temperamental, food-loving businessman that sent his family to the United States for a better life. He never was able to reconnect with his family in Miami, as he stayed behind in Cuba for 3 years, trying to save the restaurant. When he saw that it was time to leave, he had to go through Mexico City first and then travel to the U.S. but he died of a heart attack and was buried in Mexico City.

When food is made, the love that goes into it is felt and our food photography will help you make the same heart-felt connection. Restaurant owners will find a home here too, for a beautiful photographic library that allows you to have content at your fingertips.
